Editorial Voice
A book brand has to read like it belongs on a bookshelf, not a template — large serif typography and restrained color do the talking.

The Challenge
The Standard of Behavior is a two-book series built on a clear philosophy — the site had to carry that same clarity and restraint, not bury it under a generic author-page layout.
It also needed to do real work: move readers to Amazon to buy, and capture the ones who aren't ready to buy yet onto the newsletter.
Strategic Build
The goal was a site that felt like an extension of the books themselves, while still doing the practical work of selling and list-building.
01
A book brand has to read like it belongs on a bookshelf, not a template — large serif typography and restrained color do the talking.
02
Every visitor is either ready to buy a book or ready to join the list — the site is built to make both asks obvious without competing with each other.
03
The site links cleanly back to Daniel's personal author site, so the two properties reinforce one identity instead of splitting it.
What We Built
RAH Operations built The Standard of Behavior around large editorial typography, direct Amazon links, and newsletter capture placed where readers are already engaged.
A dedicated author section ties the brand back to Daniel's personal site, keeping his identity consistent across both properties.
Editorial, magazine-grade typography built around the series' voice
Direct Amazon links on every book so intent converts immediately
Newsletter capture placed at natural high-intent moments
Author bio section connecting the brand to Daniel's personal site
Instagram integration to extend the brand beyond the page
Fast, static site architecture for instant page loads
The Outcome
The Standard of Behavior now has a website that reads like a real publishing brand — one built to sell both current books and support every future release.
Readers have a clear path to buy on Amazon or join the newsletter, instead of landing on a page with nowhere obvious to go next.
Before
A two-book series with no central home to unify the brand, sell the books, or capture reader interest.
After
An editorial author site that sells both books directly and grows a newsletter list from day one.
